Leave a legacy Let your love live on Let your love for animals live on by leaving a gift in your Will. Your generosity will make a big difference to future generations of cats and dogs in your local area. You can do this by making a Will or by adding a Codicil (a document which specifies alterations to your Will). If you are making a Will, please remember that RSPCA Sussex, Chichester & District Branch is a separately registered charity. To ensure that the funds end up where you intend them to go, we respectfully suggest that your legacy reads: I give the sum of £…..(or specify a share of residue) to the RSPCA Sussex, Chichester & District Branch, Registered Charity Number 206300, for its general purposes and I declare that the receipt of the Honorary Treasurer or other proper officer of the said Branch for the time being shall be a full and sufficient discharge for the said legacy. A Will or Codicil needs to be properly witnessed, and you should obtain legal advice. Gifts to registered charities are generally exempt from Inheritance and Capital Gains Tax, so a gift to the RSPCA Sussex, Chichester & District Branch would therefore greatly benefit local animals with minim burden to your estate. Please remember us - a legacy will provide crucial funds and we could not carry out our work without such generous support. Donate instead of flowers Asking friends and family to make a donation to Mount Noddy Animal Centre in lieu of flowers is a wonderful way to remember a loved one and to celebrate their life as an animal lover. It can be comforting to know that each donation given in their memory, helps to ensure that every cat or dog who finds themselves at Mount Noddy gets the love and care they deserve.
