Animal Care Assistant Sam is currently undertaking a level 3 certificate in Canine Hydrotherapy then going on to study for her level 4 Applied Water Treadmill. Here she is after her 6 day practical course at Greyfriars Veterinary Rehabilitation & Hydrotherapy Referrals Well done Sam! The new reception is having the finishing touches completed with the view to the team being able to move into the offices in the refurbished cottage this side of Christmas. The meet and great rooms just off the main reception will provide a confidential quiet area for families meeting their new canine companions. The cattery is also looking fantastic, with the long stay cat pens beginning to look ready. Just the cat flaps to fit now, and finishing touches to go in. Senior Cat Care Assistant Shel is working closely with the Animal Operations Manager to ensure an updated cattery cleaning and care routine is ready for when we can welcome cats in again. It is exciting times for the team as the new staff car park is almost ready! With the team expanding the new space is very much appreciated. The rehoming and intake paddocks for the dogs are awaiting the surface sand to be delivered. These smaller paddocks are perfect for staff to assess new dogs in a safe and secure environment.
