How do I become a volunteer?

Once you have found the role for you please send us an application form. We run volunteer information sessions at Mount Noddy Animal Centre every quarter where you can have a look around, and find out more about us. Please email the application form to [email protected].

After the group session we will book small group inductions where you will begin your training.

Why volunteer with us?

There are so many benefits to becoming a volunteer at Mount Noddy but overall we aim for you to have fun working with us. You'll have the opportunity to meet new people, learn new skills catered to your chosen role and understand and experience the daily operations carried out at the centre.

If you choose to take on an animal care role, not only will you be playing a vital part in their training and rehabilitation programs, but you will be significantly improving their quality of life by helping fulfil their social needs. In doing so, you will also gain a basic understanding of cat and dog behaviour, training and body language that may even help you improve your relationship with your own pets.

The best part is, you can manage your time to suit your lifestyle, so you can get the most out of your volunteering experience with us. Whether you volunteer for an hour or a day, we appreciate your ongoing help and support.
